Kolkata: Shree Cement has announced the appointment of Mahendra Pratap Joshi as its new Head of Quality. Known for its strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, the company emphasized that this appointment reinforces its commitment to product and process leadership.
An accomplished manufacturing professional, Mahendra Pratap Joshi has over 40 years of extensive experience in the cement sector. He has held senior leadership positions at Aditya Cement, Heidelberg Cement, and Orient Cement.

Having originally worked with Shree Cement early in his career, Joshi rejoined the company in September 2024 from Orient Cement, where he served as Unit Head. He is currently part of the Manufacturing Excellence team in Kolkata.
Mahendra Pratap Joshi Brings Four Decades of Cement Industry Expertise
In his new role as Head of Quality, Mahendra Pratap Joshi will be responsible for driving product excellence, optimizing raw materials, improving raw mix design, and spearheading new product development. His mandate includes strengthening Shree Cement’s quality systems and aligning them with global best practices to ensure sustained product and operational excellence.
